Here’s a look at my work-outs this week! This week was a huge adjustment period for me. I had to balance working full-time, going to grad classes two nights a week, and beginning my internship. I think it was a smart move on my part by deciding a while ago to take a vacation day today from work. Today has allowed me the opportunity to sleep-in, catch up on blog reading/writing, and just plain relax! I am hoping that I will get used to my schedule soon (though research shows that it takes about 21 days to make something a habit). I will definitely be posting more on the blog about the progress I am making in balancing my busy schedule!
Sunday: Walk 1 mile; Run 1.5 miles (treadmill) followed by stretching and then weight machines (arms)
Monday: Walk .5 mile; Run 1 mile (treadmill) followed by stretching and then weights (arms)
Tuesday: Rest–Work all day and then class in the evening
Wednesday: Rest–Work all day and then class in the evening
Thursday: Rest–I was going to go to the gym after my internship was over at 8 p.m., but I decided against it after my long day!
Friday (day off from work): I plan to do a 3 mile run/walk on the treadmill today and whatever else I decide upon once I get to the gym this afternoon.
If you’d like, tell me: How do you balance work, school, fitness, and other demands? I would love your advice! ![]()
